University of Minnesota – Crookston College Republicans Endorse Sunderman for MCR Chair

Crookston – The University of Minnesota – Crookston College Republicans endorsed Tyler Sunderman in his bid for Chairman of the Minnesota College Republicans today.

“The UMC College Republicans are continuously working to further the Conservative movement and wish nothing but the best for the Republican Party,” said Ryan Beattie, club Vice President. “Tyler Sunderman and his efforts to better the Minnesota College Republicans have the full support of the University of Minnesota, Crookston College Republicans.”

On his recent tour of northwest Minnesota, Sunderman visited chapters in Fergus Falls, Moorhead, Crookston, and Bemidji with MCR Treasurer Tom Kalil and MCR Deputy Executive Director Luke Hellier.

“I was glad to have an opportunity to meet with Ryan. He is doing an outstanding job of leading his club,” said Sunderman. “In the 2006 election cycle, our party is counting on strong chapters in all corners of the state who can not only deliver votes for our statewide candidates, but also help their local candidates. The Crookston College Republicans are a key part of that effort and I look forward to working with them in the coming year.”
