Tyler Sunderman Announces Emily Loehr as Running Mate Loehr to run for reelection as MCR Co-chair

St. Paul – Tyler Sunderman announced his pick for Co-chair today by naming Emily Loehr from the University of Minnesota – Morris College Republicans to his ticket. Emily currently serves as Co-chair and will be running for reelection.

“I am proud to announce that Emily Loehr will be joining my ticket and running for reelection as Co-chair of the Minnesota College Republicans. Emily is an outstanding leader and has shown her dedication to our organization time and time again,” said Sunderman.

As part of her duties as Co-chair, Loehr is also the editor-in-chief of The Minnesota Conscience, the official publication of MCRs.

“Emily Loehr was crucial in developing our new statewide newspaper. Her training in the field of campus publications as well as her experience with The Counterweight, a conservative publication at U of M – Morris, makes her an invaluable part of the Minnesota College Republicans,” said Sunderman. “In my administration, Emily will continue as editor of The Conscience.”

“I am honored to join Team Sunderman,” said Loehr. “As Executive Director, he has been crucial to the success of our organization and I look forward serving in his administration. I look forward to working with Tyler and publishing more issues of The Minnesota Conscience.”

Loehr is currently a junior at the University of Minnesota – Morris, where she is studying economics and political science.
